German Prepositions and the Dative Case

aus
Marcel wird nächste Woche aus dem Krankenhaus kommen. – Marcel will get out of hospital next week.
Ohne Regenschirm gehe ich nicht aus dem Haus. – I don’t leave the house without an umbrella.
außer
Außer ihr wollte keiner mit ins Kino. – Nobody wanted to come to the cinema except her.
Außer ihm konnte mir keiner helfen. – Nobody could help me except him.
bei
Bei meiner Mutter gibt es immer selbstgebackenen Kuchen. – There is always a home made cake at my mom’s place.
Sina möchte bei ihrem Freund wohnen. – Sina wants to live at her friends place.
gegenüber
Gegenüber der Kirche gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. – There is a very good restaurant opposite the church.
Die Oper ist gegenüber der Post. – The opera is opposite the post office.
mit
Mit Ihrer Hilfe werde ich das schaffen. – I will make it with your help.
Ich gehe gerne mit dir joggen. – I like jogging with you.
nach
Nach der Party ging es uns sehr schlecht. – We felt very bad after the party.
Pete fuhr nach der Arbeit zu Ben. – Pete drove to Ben’s after work.
seit
Seit ihrem Geburtstag hat sie sich sehr verändert. – She has changed a lot since her birthday.
Ich habe seit dem Unfall nicht mehr richtig geschlafen. – I haven’t slept properly since my accident.
von
Diese Kette habe ich von ihm bekommen. – I got this necklace from him.

zu
Ich werde zu deiner Hochzeit kommen. – I will come to your wedding.
